Pilates is my PASSION!
It might not be everyone's, so I strive to help my clients find the activities they enjoy and design a program to achieve optimal health.

I have been involved in the Fitness business for over 30 years. I am an ACE Certified Personal Trainer since 1998, NETA certified Pilates Instructor and AEA certified Aquatic Exercise Instructor. I have completed continuing education with Body Arts and Science in Pilates, SCW Fitness in Pilates Small Apparatus, and Hatha Yoga. I have15 years experience as manager and program director in a health club. I currently own and manage Studio On Main in downtown Frankfort.

The studio environment is positive and welcoming, non-competitive and motivating. Our focus is on setting reasonable, attainable goals that promote feelings of well-being, encourage healthy lifestyle changes and lead to success!

Developing a passion for moving your body is as easy as changing your mindset. Long-term lifestyle change does not happen from the guilt complex and high anxiety of what you "should" do. Permanent change happens when you find things you "want" to do. We are forever loosing the same 10 pounds for that special event or vacation or wanting to begin an exercise program because we "should". We need to honor who we are, what we enjoy and turn the " I should" into "I AM".

Classes I teach:
Pilates Mat Classes; Basic Pilates, Gentle Pilates, Pilates for Men, Pilates for Teens, Intermediate Pilates, Pilates on the Ball, Pilates Sculpt, Magic Circle Pilates and Pilates with Bands.

Flow - A fusion of Flowing Strength Postures, Pilates and energy! Great class for mornings and sunsets on the beach or after work in the studio.

Body Sculpting on the Ball - Everyone's favorite! The best core/total body sculpting workout that's challenging, fun and gives results!

Cardio Fusion - Designed to burn calories and sculpt your body infused with Latin dance or kickboxing.

Meditation - Guided meditation designed for stress relief, relaxation and to just BE.

Beach Booty - My favorite! Who needs a gym? Learn how to use the gifts mother nature gave you to improve your strength and blast calories!

Workshops Offered:
Nutrition and Journaling - It's easier than you think to make healthy changes in your diet when you evaluate the what, why and how of your eating habits. Awareness is the key to success!

Pilates 101 - Take the mystery out of the Pilates system of movement! Learn the A (alignment) B (breathing) C's (control) of Pilates. This workshop is designed to teach you the fundamentals of Pilates for you to begin a program at home or your local studio.

Pilates for Golfers & Athletes- Improve core strength, flexibility and balance to improve your game or performance.

Pilates for Teen Athletes - Develop core strength and flexibility to improve your sports performance, avoid injury and speed recovery.

Personal Transformation - For individuals or groups. Develop a lifestyle approach to health and wellness. This workshop will realistically match your goals with your lifestyle and set you on the road to success without stress.

Mini Wellness Retreats - A combination of the classes and workshops offered. Depending on season, location and participants, the retreat can be personalized for your special events and group. Jump start your wellness program with an intensive weekend or week of fitness, nutrition and lifestyle enhancing activities.
If you are interested in a class not listed, I am qualified to teach all types of fitness classes for all levels and ages and can work out individual plans to meet your needs.
