Pilates is a system of controlled exercises that engage the mind and condition the total body. It is a balanced blend of strength and flexibility training that improves posture,reduces stress and creates long, lean muscles, with a particular focus on strengthening and stabilizing the core. To practice Pilates is to strive to achieve balance and maximize the potential of the body, mind and spirit.
A full array of Pilates, yoga, dance and fitness classes for all fitness levels are offered at Studio on Main. One on one, small group and reformer training is also available by appointment.
